Qal’at Bu Mahir, also known as Bu Mahir Fort, is a historic fort located at the southern tip of Muharraq Island. It served as an important defensive structure for the island and played a vital role during Bahrain’s pearling era. The fort is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site titled “Pearling, Testimony of an Island Economy” and is a key stop on the Pearling Trail.
